My favourite quote from Dale Carnegie who has been an inspiration to me ever since I stumbled upon his book ‘How to Win Friends & Influence People.’ in a thrift shop in Melbourne in 2012. Ever since, I try to live my life by his insights and perceptions of the world. Even though it was written in the 1930s, the principles in the book are still as relevant as they were back then. If I ever got asked that ‘If you were to invite anyone dead or alive for dinner party, who would you invite?’ question, Dale would be there!
